WVU football: Rodriguez's coaching staff appears largely in place
Piece by piece, Rich Rodriguez’s football coaching staff has been coming together. Over the last couple of weeks, WVU has announced the hiring or retention of 14 staff members for Rodriguez’s first season back at West Virginia.
Jeff Casteel returns to WVU football staff as bandits coach
Casteel was the defensive line coach on Rodriguez’s original coaching staff at WVU in 2001. The Paden City native transitioned to the role of co-defensive coordinator/linebackers coach a year later. In 2003, Casteel was named defensive coordinator/linebackers coach and he held that role through the 2011 season.
