Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that Kumbh Mela is a grand yajna of unity, where the distinction of castes disappears.

PM Modi stressed that his government respects Indian culture and provides facilities to devotees visiting Kumbh. He criticised the previous Congress government for neglecting Indian culture and religious pilgrimages.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed pooja at the Sangam Nose on 13. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present during the occasion.
