(WILX) - A battle of top-three teams in college hockey lived up to the hype Friday, as No. 3 Michigan State and No. 1 Minnesota battled to a 3-3 tie before the Spartans earned the extra point with a 2-0 win in the shootout. A back-and-forth game started with Minnesota taking a 1-0 lead just 23 seconds into the first period.
