Heading into the overnight and Sunday, a major winter storm will take shape across parts of the Plains and the Midwest. This storm will produce significant amounts of snow and ice, but will only clip portions of Iowa.

(Omaha) A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from noon Saturday to 6:00 p.m. Sunday for Pottawattamie, Mills and Montgomery counties. The National Weather Service says mixed precipitation is expected with total snow accumulations between one and three inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze.
