The outspoken actor goes deep on ‘The Brutalist,’ using his platform to promote support for Palestine, and the real reason he hasn’t been in a Christopher Nolan movie since ‘Memento.’

Written and directed by Nolan, Memento stars Pearce as Leonard, a man struggling with short-term memory loss while trying to track down the man who raped and murdered his wife. The film also starred Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Pantoliano.

He was briefly considered for Liam Neeson's part in 'Batman Begins' before it was decided he wasn't allowed to take on the role.
