Omar Marmoush seems on the verge of joining Manchester City as his current club Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed it's in talks with City and says the Egyptian striker will probably leave.

Eintracht Frankfurt left forward Omar Marmoush out of their squad to take on Borussia Dortmund on Friday and said he is in talks to leave the club ahead of an expected move to Manchester City.

Omar Marmoush didn't play though he still made it onto the field to bid what seemed like a farewell as Eintracht Frankfurt beat struggling Borussia Dortmund 2-0 on Friday. Frankfurt left Marmoush out of its squad and confirmed he is close to completing a transfer to Manchester City.

Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed they are in talks with Manchester City over the transfer of Omar Marmoush. Marmoush is currently the preferred January target for Pep Guardiola's side as they aim to arrest a slump that leaves them 12 points off the Premier League's summit.
