A person died in a shooting in Chesapeake Sunday evening. Just before 5 p.m., police were called to the 3100 block of Fairview Street, a residential area with apartments, for a shooting, according to a release. When police arrived, they found a male who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
