The South Korean National Assembly has voted to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol on Saturday in a divisive vote.

South Korea's parliament has impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol over his martial law decree, ending days of political paralysis.

Impeached President said he will “never give up” and called for officials to maintain stability in government functions during what he described as a “temporary” pause of his presidency.
