Bill Belichick received a warm reception when he was introduced to the crowd at a University of North Carolina men’s basketball game, days after he was named as head coach of the school’s football team.

UNC football coach Bill Belichick and UNC recruit Bryce Baker made an appearance at halftime of the Tar Heels' basketball game at the Smith Center.

Bill Belichick contacted Bryce Baker on Thursday night, just hours after the six-time Super Bowl champion head coach's introductory presser in Chapel Hill. Evidently, Baker liked what he heard from the 72-year-old enough to pledge his allegiance to the Tar Heels for the second time in his recruitment.
