Anthony Edwards scored 23 points and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Los Angeles Lakers 97-87. Julius Randle added 21 points and Jaden McDaniels scored 18 for Minnesota, which won for the fifth time in six games.

Minnesota shot 40.2% from the field, including 28.1% (9-for-32) from three while the Lakers shot 38.4% from the floor and 28.6% (10-for-35) from deep. The Wolves were able to score 27 points off the 21 turnovers committed by Los Angeles, a big key to the victory.
