Sony’s first R-rated comic book movie Kraven the Hunter is crashing and burning in its domestic box office debut after topping Friday’s chart with $4.7 million, coming in behind even sister pic Madame Web.

Disney’s animated blockbuster “Moana 2” is easily fending off Marvel’s “Kraven the Hunter” in its debut weekend at the box office.

Universal’s “Wicked” is in second this weekend with $22.3 million, bringing its domestic total to $358 million. Paramount’s “Gladiator II” is in fourth behind “Kraven” with $7.7 million in its fourth weekend for a $145 million domestic total.
