Officer shoots armed suspect in Peru

At least one suspect has been shot by police in Peru after a “strange man” was found in a pregnant woman’s garage. According to state police and local law enforcement, a shootout occurred on Tuesday morning in the 1600 block of State Road 19 involving police officers and at least one suspect.
