Geno Smith had those money moves in him on Sunday. The Seahawks quarterback cashed in on the $6 million incentives in his contract during his team’s 30-25 win over the Rams in the final week of the regular season.
And as NFL Next Gen stats illustrates, Smith performance on Sunday also stood out because of how well he played when under pressure. Against the Rams, Smith had a season-best 46.2 percent drop back success rate when under pressure, and he had more passing yards under pressure (120) than without pressure (103).

While Geno Smith might not reside in the elite tier of quarterbacks in the NFL, it doesn't mean that the Seahawks wouldn't be well served to bring him back.

The incentives are part of a three-year contract he signed in March 2023. That deal initially was reported to be worth up to $105 million over three years.
