Fuel pipelines that connect Las Vegas to a major oil refinery in Southern California were closed because of power outages related to fires in the Los Angeles area.

State and Clark County officials say they are working with regional partners to mitigate any shortage of fuel that could occur because of circumstances related to the raging wildfires in Los Angeles County
