WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Police are searching for the suspect of a shooting that happened in south Wichita early Sunday morning. According to the Wichita Police Department, an officer was flagged down just after 3 a.m. by a 31-year-old man who had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and has since been released.

(KSNW)—The Wichita Police Department is investigating two bank robberies that occurred Wednesday afternoon. The first bank robbery occurred at the Equity Bank near Rock Road and Kellogg at 4:10 p.m. WPD said that preliminary investigation indicates that a male suspect entered Equity Bank and gave a note to a bank teller instructing them to give him money.

The suspect is described as a 6' tall man with blue eyes who was wearing a hoodie, mask, khaki pants, and gloves.
