West Ham United have appointed Graham Potter as their new head coach. The Athletic reported on Wednesday that the club had agreed a deal with the 49-year-old following the departure of Julen Lopetegui.

Potter has been out of work since April 2023, having lost 11 of his 31 games in charge of Chelsea, where he succeeded Thomas Tuchel earlier in the 2022-23 season

There will be no more bubbles blown for Julen Lopetegui at West Ham, who fired the Spanish coach on Wednesday and announced Graham Potter as his replacement. Potter has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract and was unveiled as the club’s new manager at a press conference on Thursday.
