South Texas residents living on SpaceX property have formally petitioned Cameron County to become an incorporated city.

SpaceX is requesting an election to incorporate the city of Starbase, Texas. It would be located in Cameron County where the company is developing Starship.

The space travel company run by billionaire Elon Musk is launching a new mission. Space-X is officially seeking to make its Starbase site a new city in Texas. Our Will DuPree sat down with The Hill reporter Miranda Nazzaro to see how the efforts are going.
