President-elect Donald Trump’s recent “Meet the Press” interview has triggered concerns among allies and critics about his level of awareness of the details of the sprawling investigation into the Capitol attack that has produced hundreds of convictions in the nearly four years since Jan.

More than 140 police officers were assaulted by the mob, and the damage to the Capitol –from windows rioters smashed to enter the building to property rioters stole – was in the millions.

The President-elect, who will serve his second term as the first American president to be convicted of a felony, was named TIME's 2024 Person of the Year.
