The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center forecasts aurora may be visible from Washington, northern Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Maine in the U.S. and Newfoundland and News Brunswick, Canada.

According to the Space Weather Prediction Center, the northern lights have a higher chance across Canada and Alaska. However, states including Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota and even Michigan could also see the aurora borealis.
