Kevin Lankinen, Vancouver Canucks end Florida Panthers’ point streak
Kevin Lankinen recorded a 27-save shutout and J.T. Miller had two assists in his return to the ice as the Vancouver Canucks beat the visiting Florida Panthers 4-0 on Thursday. Carson Soucy, Danton Heinen, Brock Boeser and Jake DeBrusk scored for Vancouver, which won for just the fifth time in 15 home games this season (5-6-4).

Lankinen’s shutout was the sixth of his NHL career. Sergei Bobrovsky made 15 saves for the Panthers, who were 6-0-1 in their last seven games and lost in regulation for the first time since Nov. 25. Florida was shut out for the first time this season.

VANCOUVER -- Kevin Lankinen made 27 saves, and J.T. Miller had two assists in his return for the Vancouver Canucks in a 4-0 win against the Florida Panthers at Rogers Arena on Thursday. It was Lankinen's third shutout this season and sixth in the NHL. Miller had missed the previous 10 games because of a personal leave of absence.
