Texas Christian University (TCU) and Louisiana will face off at the 19th annual Isleta New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 28. The Horned Frogs (8-4, 6-3 Big 12) and the Ragin’ Cajuns (10-3, 7-1 Sun Belt) will be meeting for the first time on the gridiron in Albuquerque.

TCU finally knows their bowl destination. The Horned Frogs are headed to the Isleta New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they’ll face the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. It’s the first ever meeting between the two football programs, although TCU and Louisiana have met on the baseball diamond in recent years.

While most fans who root for TCU football aren’t excited about the Horned Frogs’ selection to the New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 28, head coach Sonny Dykes doesn’t share those sentiments.

Two high-powered offenses will go head-to-head when Texas Christian meets Louisiana in the 19th annual New Mexico Bowl.

TCU will face Louisiana on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 1:15 p.m. CST on ESPN. The Horned Frogs will enter bowl season as one of the hottest teams in the country with five wins in their final six games and an 8-4 regular-season record.

The 2024 Isleta New Mexico Bowl matchup is set. It will be a Big 12 versus Sun Belt conference matchup as TCU faces Louisiana on December 28th at University Stadium.

The University of Louisiana Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns will be playing in the Isleta New Mexico Bowl against Texas Christian University.
