The sister of Hannah Kobayashi, the Hawaii woman who was at the center of a Southern California missing persons investigation, posted an update to the family's GoFundMe page on Thursday offering refunds to people who donated.

On Dec. 11, 30-year-old Hannah Kobayashi's family issued a statement saying she had been "found safe" after a month of news coverage and concern.

Kobayashi, 30, was last seen in Los Angeles in early November. Her family said they made contact with her and she was safe in Mexico.

"We are turning donations off, and any donor who would like a refund can submit a claim by December 18th, and it will be honored," her sister, Sydni Kobayashi, wrote in an update to the fundraiser on Thursday.

Kobayashi's family released a statement with little details about where the 30-year-old photographer surfaced from Wednesday

"We are all extremely relieved and glad that my sister is alive and seemingly okay, but we also have mixed and overwhelming feelings of exhaustion, devastation, and betrayal," her sister wrote on Facebook.
