The starting point guard for the Horned Frogs men's basketball will have season-ending surgery for a stress fracture in his left foot.

TCU guard Frankie Collins, the team's best player through the first month, will miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken foot last weekend, the school said Friday.  Collins will undergo surgery Tuesday.

FORT WORTH, Texas — TCU leading scorer Frankie Collins will miss the rest of the season because of a broken bone in his left foot, the school said Friday. The 6-foot-2 senior guard, in his first season at TCU after spending the past two at Arizona State, is scheduled to have surgery Tuesday in Dallas.

A tough start to the 2024-25 season for TCU men’s basketball took another disastrous turn on Friday, when multiple reports broke that starting point guard Frankie Collins will miss the remainder of the season due to a fractured foot suffered last weekend.
