LSU football landed its first transfer of the offseason Friday, and the addition will help the Tigers fill a position of need.  Bauer Sharp, a tight end who led Oklahoma in receiving last season, announced on social media that he's transferring to LSU.

Former Georgia Tech wide receiver Eric Singleton told On3 his top five schools, and LSU was joined by Auburn, Miami, Texas, and Ole Miss. According to 247Sports and On3, Singleton is the No. 1 ranked transfer in the 2025 cycle.

LSU needed transfer wide receivers after losing senior Kyren Lacy (exhausted eligibility) and senior CJ Daniels (transfer portal). The Tigers are only bringing back two wideouts, redshirt sophomore Aaron Anderson and junior Zavion Thomas, who had more than five catches during the regular season.
